“I spy with my little eye something that begins with M.”

No answer.

My daughter says, “Andre doesn’t know what M is, Daddy.”

Of course not, silly me, he’s only 4. How could he know?

The other diners are giving me the “can’t you control your kids?” stare. I’d better come up with something to entertain them fast. So I say, “that’s the one that sounds like mmm.”

My son, in a stroke of genius, replies, “mmmmmmm, delicious.”

Then his dad gets a flash of inspiration and invents a new version of I Spy.

“I spy something that is black…”

“Shoe.”

“I spy something that is white.”

“Plate.”

The kids are having a blast and the pressure’s off – no more evil stares.

We’ve played that restaurant version of I spy for many years now and my son loves it. No longer is he left out. He can play just as well as his big sister and the grown-ups because he’s involved.

Just like my son playing I spy, if you want to play Spanish you have to be involved in the language.

It is a vital ingredient to your success, without it you will fail.

These free audios are all about getting you involved in your Spanish. They will have you “playing” Spanish and speaking within 5 minutes.
