Qué rápido pasa el tiempo; (Literally, “how quickly time passes”, but it’s just like saying in English “how time flies.”)
Por supuesto el fútbol es tan popular como siempre.
Of course the football is as popular as ever (always).
In my opinion 3 Spanish-speaking countries are in with a good chance of winning el Mundial, Spain, Argentina and Colombia.
So, for the next month you’ll have no trouble starting a Spanish conversation on this subject.

I am slowly getting the hang of speaking. I am not working but I am going to a party in Plantation
6 miles west of Fort Lauderdale. My cousin is 85 years old from Jamaica, West Indies. I doubt if there will be too many spanish speaking people at his party – unless of course his wife speaks spanish. I am looking forward to meeting them.

I have just completed the beginner ind intermediate gol lessons. Great. But it does show whilst i have come a long way thereis still a long way to go. If onlt time was on my side

For a 50 year old this is the best Spanish lesson I tried. Finally decide on which lesson to take. This makes more sense than starting like a kindergarten which is torturing me. Best one to take if you want to speak spa is right away:)

Dear Marcus, After 10 years and numerous tapes and C.D’s of various courses I am at last
able to say more or less what I mean without having to think about it for ten minutes first.
Wish I had started you ten years ago when I was 74 years but I have had to wait until I am
84. Always said I hoped to crack it before I died, Many, many thanks.
One of the biggest helps I think are your little messages that always seem to pop up just

Very easy to follow and aquire vocabulary. I have lived in Tenerife for many years but still struggle to acheive fluency

this is a good idea for you to take on…. I can learn to read Spanish faster by reading your comments that you send out.. while trying to decide which way to go I notice that if I read the
comments that you send out first in Spanish and then in English with interesting subjects .. I
think you could sell a course like that … thanks for the encouragement .. I don’t use the free

Gracias por audio sobre el mundial. The interesting thing is that listening to any other voices besides your ‘s and Elena’s it seems odd and rather difficult to comprehend! You could say my ears are hooked to your voices.
