I love the course and have recommended it to my friends. I was getting nowhere fast at the local language school – that was all about conjugating verbs etc. There was a lot I didn’t understand but no-one answered my questions satisfactorily (not even about the personal ‘a’, which you explained in an instant). I lost my confidence. Now, with Bola de Nieve, I am enjoying learning and am regaining the confidence I need to speak with my neighbours (I live in Spain). I want to continue learning until I am mistaken for a Spaniard!

I’ve been living in Spain now for 18 months albeit in a area populated by British ex-pats so don’t get to hear Spanish consistently as I would like. But I am already speaking much more Spanish then many people who have been here for many years. The course not only makes Spanish much easier but it is enjoyable as well.

After ten years of lessons with many different teachers and twelve years of living in Spain, your course is the only one that has enabled me to speak with some confidence. I am very much looking forward to starting Advanced Concepts Intensive after completing Bola de Nieve.

Spanish Ear Training is teaching me how to listen to rapid Spanish – I now receive the words in Spanish, rather than trying to translate into English. I can’t tell you how pleased I am about that – it seems such a big step.

I moved to Spain 2 years ago. I have been having lessons with a local teacher and am learning a lot.

I have some Spanish knowledge but my husband is a beginner. He loves the cds and keeps them in his truck, listening and practicing to and from work.

Firstly I can honestly say you,re course is by far the most usful I,ve ever done. I’m living in Madrid Spain now and synergy spanish has made a huge difference to how fast I’m picking up the Spanish language.

I have tried other courses and have my head so full of grammar, grammar, grammar but after 5 years realised I needed more speaking practice, the audio I have downloaded from your course are FANTASTIC and make speaking practice so easy.

I have lived in Lanzarote in the Canary islands for the past 8 years and have tried many different ways of learning Spanish and found it very hard. I find your way so much fun and a lot easier.

I have been speaking Spanish (of a fashion) for a few years. The last 3 has been a bit more serious as we have both been to night school,consequently this has taken us to a higher level…but I think we both were feeling that we had “plateaued”.

I must admit I was a bit skeptical when Diane bought your course as she has ‘bitted & bobbed’ with various downloadable ‘courses’ without a great deal of success. However, I’m pleased to report that we both have been really impressed. It really is a different way of learning. Diane especially has now much more confidence in her Spanish & I look forward to her being more “vocal” when we go to our place in Spain again.

We have just returned to the UK from Spain, but a month before we left I downloaded your program Synergy Spanish and our Spanish friends could not believe the progress I made in 1 month, thanks a million Marcus.

I also chat on Skype to practice speaking in Spanish with people who are learning English – I often send emails to arrange chats with my friends. I write in Spanish and ask them to correct it.

A recent email from Silvia from Madrid said: “Tu e-mail en español está muy muy bien, como una auténtica nativa!” (Your email in Spanish is very good, like an authentic native speaker). I put that all down to you teaching us word order and expressions that are actually used by Spanish speakers.

She also said recently when we were chatting that I had used quite a difficult and advanced expression that to me seemed quite an easy and obvious way to say something – again down to the way you teach us how to use authentic expressions.

I really cant believe how much this course has helped. I couldn’t imagine dealing with Spanish friends and businesses by telephone 6 months ago! and my neighbours are complimentary, I now berate the men just like their wives! Apparently they feel quite at home…. apart from Carlitos my Spanish son… he was brain damaged in a motorbike accident, his mum says he’s ‘muy triste’ cuando estoy en Inglaterra so I phone him and can feel his smile 3000 miles away!

Thanks for creating this system of learning. I love it. What started out as an inquisitive “toe-dipping” into the Spanish language has now developed into what I know will be a lifelong learning quest!…

Not only with the language but with the culture and country of Spain; and is doesn’t stop with Spain there’s the a whole other continent across “the pond” to discover. Bola de Nieve in particular for me is like one of those books that once you start to can’t put down; admittedly I am running a little behind but that’s how things are with 3 young daughters a full time job AND a wife to keep happy!!

This course is helping me enormously. Learning another language was something I had always wanted to do, and even though we moved to Spain, I still didn’t think I could at my age. But with your method it doesn’t matter how old you are, any one of any age can learn a language.

I had been learning Spanish online for a year; I had even walked the Camino de Santiago for two months in Spain. My survival Spanish served me well and I could make myself understood, but I couldn’t TALK Spanish.

That’s when I discovered Synergy Spanish. It was a refreshing new window on learning. I worked my way through, I think, all the Synergy products and onto Bola de Nieve. I thank you for how you taught me to speak.

By the way, I’m 78. I hadn’t heard a word of Spanish until I turned 75. I could have, should have written this in Spanish. But it is, after all, our mutual idioma materna and I wanted to be sure that you understood just how happy I have been with all you have done for me.

In a few weeks I shall be 80, but I intend to continue studying Spanish and taking trips to Spain where I enjoy using the Spanish you have taught me.

I have been going to Spain for three months every year for about 20 years, last year, an emergency came up, and I couldn’t deal with it at all, so I decided to try and learn some Spanish, not before time , as I am 78.

I am most impressed with your system of teaching, your way of teaching verbs is so good, (as I can now make sentences). Your very enthusiastic pupil.

Now on lesson 11, really getting a lot out of your course, it has pulled a lot together that I already knew, and feel a lot more confident than just one week ago. I am even communicating by e-mail to my brother-in-law in Spanish! He is a Spanish teacher living in the Isle of Man (uk). I am really pleased that you have nearly finished part 2 of Synergy Spanish. Part 1 helped me out this year in Spain. I can`t wait for your new lessons.

Synergy Spanish has meant that I can now holiday in Spain without thinking in English. I don’t have to worry about having a phrase book to hand, and after several years of learning the language with different providers, it’s Synergy Spanish that has helped me most. And when I want to refresh my memory, it’s there on my computer.

Our daughter has a 7 month placement as a language assistant in Marbella, so we are able to visit her and it’s great to be able to see the real Spain, and to be able to communicate with the locals, shop in small independent shops, without asking her for help!

I bought your synergy course at the beginning of the week and I’m delighted to say that I have finished it this morning! Wow – you have a great gift to make difficult things easy!! I have no problem speaking Spanish to Spanish people – yes I will make some mistakes but no panic. I can’t wait to go back to Spain and they better watch out!! I just can’t believe you made it so easy for me to learn another language since the beginning of last November. I know that I have a lot more to learn but we’re always learning.

I am an American from Atlanta Georgia, came to Spain to visit a lady in Granada, fortunately we have fallen in love with one another, she is very impressed with the amount of progress I have made. Thank you not only for your program and your emails are too priceless.

I have been ‘learning’ Spanish for almost a year now……. I have a weekly personal tutor and go to a weekly class also……. I am bogged down with verb learning and vocab work and can hardly string a sentence together.

I am intelligent and keen to learn Spanish for travelling in Spain and South America so I was becoming really frustrated at my seeming inability to make progress.

My husband and I have a property ten minutes drive from Alicante City, and so we pay frequent visits to Spain throughout the year.

Because of your Synergy Spanish, I feel as though my brain cells are suddenly increasing, instead of decreasing, which isn’t a bad thing at my age (64).

I am definitely had more confidence to use the language since learning Synergy Spanish, Whilst away. I was able to understand the Spanish people much easier when they spoke to me, and more importantly they understood me, and carried on speaking in their language, instead of switching over to English.

I am in a PhD program where I am required to learn a foreign language. I choose Spanish. I worked with a tutor from Spain for a year and a half. Then with a tutor from Venezuela for about 6 months. They taught me a lot of grammar but to be honest I still could barely string a sentence together.

Now, I am an lesson 7 of your program and I am thrilled so far. I know how make sentences!!! Woo-Hoo!

It’s really cool because you are not necessarily introducing me to new words but the best is that you are showing me how to use the words I already know to make sentences, useful sentences!!!!

I have an online language exchange partner. He told me my Spanish was better the other day. I was drinking a beer. He said maybe it was the beer. I laughed because I knew it was Synergy Spanish, not the beer.

On Wednesday I made my first ever phone call to Spain from England and this was also my first telephone call made in Spanish. The call went well and I could understand 75% of what the hospital receptionist said and she appeared to understand me perfectly as she provided the information that I required without having to ask for clarification.

I am feeling really good about the experience.

I live 4 months a year in Spain and have bought every CD and book and just got tangled up in indigestible words and lessons – all totally unconnectable and disheartening. I have learnt more in 2 days with your course than I have learnt after 100’s x £ and months of other courses. I love it. Great product.

Your whole approach to teaching Spanish is quite simply ground breakingly wonderful – even if you have been going for some time. I have done the Synergy Spanish, Short Cut to Spanish, Bola de Nieve, Conversations etc. Found them all wonderful and they allow me to live in Spain, talk to the Spanish, converse with Doctors, Garages, Shops etc etc. The greatest bonus is the reaction of the Spanish to an Englishman speaking to them in their own language. It is friendly helpful and you can make new friends very quickly.

Quite simply – for the money (and even at any price) a wonderful tool to learn Spanish.

I am 60 years old not a fool and very active I would just like to say that your Spanish course is the best course I have come across. It is easy to follow and I disbelieved you when you said you would be speaking straight away and for that I apologise.

Although I still struggle with the Andaluz dialect I confidently teach/train golfers in Spanish and they understand me perfectly. I ask them, sometimes, to correct me if I say things incorrectly but they never do – not that I speak perfectly but they completely understand me. So a big ‘thank you’ for this.
