My wife and I have just moved to Costa Rica and I am finally getting to practice my Spanish on a daily basis. I feel THE COURSE has helped me greatly.

The people in Costa Rica are very helpful and appreciate my efforts to speak to them in their own language. I have had numerous comments that I am speaking very well and my pronunciation is good! I am sure that is partly because the people here are very kind but also thanks to the excellent audio and practice provided by the course.

My Spanish lessons are an important part of my day–we live in Costa Rica for 3 months of the year, and I am now able to communicate in an area where little English is spoken. I’ve never had such a dramatic success in my life. Thank you so much!

You are a language teacher genius!

I’ve been living in Costa Rica for 17 years teaching Suzuki Piano, and I know the most effective way to learn a language is the same way I teach music; but I couldn’t find it in print and sound until your amazing work was introduced to me. I’ve had hundreds of classes, private tutors, books,, books, tapes, and on and on, and I can read, write, translate it very well on paper, and fully communicate in my studio; but much more communication skills are needed to function in all areas of life when living in a Spanish speaking country.

I appreciate your excellent work so much. It has all of the elements to guarantee success, and automatically lays a firm foundation upon which to rapidly build excellent communication and written skills for life. I decided to start at the very beginning no matter how much I learned before, and it is really working! I’ve only had it a few days now, and already I see a huge difference in my interaction in the community here. Phone conversations are much better too. You are a language teacher genius to say the least.

I live in Costa Rica And I would like to say how much I’ve enjoyed your Synergy Spanish course. I find it very comprehensive and encouraging.

My Spanish has improved greatly. I have gone from being a large dictionary of vocabulary words to actually being able to put that knowledge into action…!

My Spanish fluidity has really improved and reached an all time high, and is improving everyday. (Acabo de regresar de Panama y Costa Rica durante Las Pascuas…Tambien,espero ir a España en el verano que viene).

I would also like to say that in a couple of weeks I shall be 74 years old…so don’t let anyone think age is any sort of a barrier to learning another language….especially with your unique method of teaching.

Many, many years ago I left grammar school with a GCE certificate “O” level in French, but I have never been able to hold a conversation in French; ….. as I now can in Spanish!!

Dear Marcus – I am writing you from Costa Rica where I am vacationing.

My purpose for writing is to send profound thanks to you, Jose Luis, Elena, and your brilliance in the design of your courses which I have been studying over the past almost 3 years.

This morning I was speaking Spanish to one of the Costa Rican citizens and he asked me if I was born here or in Mexico. I asked him why? His reply, “Because your Spanish is so very good.” KUDOS, KUDOS, KUDOS to you and the staff at Synergy Spanish.

There are times when I’m not sure how to say something and I think, “How would Jose Luis say this.”

I have had no problems anywhere with my Spanish. I am complemented frequently regarding its quality and particularly my pronunciation. I am a classical pianist so my ears have been trained over the years to not only hear the nuances of music but also that of the human voice.

Prior to your program I had had 3 college semesters of Spanish and had no facility in the language. I have been using your program almost every day for 1 1/2 to 2 hours for almost 3 years and above is my testimony.

I live in Costa Rica for four months of the year, in a remote area–your lessons have made it possible to survive!!

I went to Costa Rica and lived there for 6 months studying Spanish with a Spanish family. But I wasn’t getting it. I wanted to learn Spanish but I wasn’t fluent when I came back.

Your courses have changed everything for me. I now read “La Nacion” Costa Rica’s newspaper online almost every day. I watch “Premier Impacto” two or three times a week.

I’m getting much better at understanding the spoken language too. Anyway, to make a long story short, I’m getting it!

Good morning Marcus, I am very much enjoying learning Spanish with your courses. I completed the Shortcut to Spanish course and thought it was wonderful.

Before this I knew a few words and phrases but when I tried to put them together it was not going too well. By the time I finished Shortcut to Spanish I was making sentences up in my head to translate into Spanish while walking to the bus to go to work.

I have since bought Synergy Spanish and I’m really “cooking” now. I’m almost finished the end of part 2 and thoroughly enjoying the experience.

I am travelling to Costa Rica at the end of this month and hopefully will be able to put my Spanish to good use.

I can’t begin to express sufficiently my gratitude for your classes.

When I was in college a long time ago, my major was French. I only wish I could have had your courses then. It was the traditional way of studying a foreign language, i.e, memorize 50 words a day, use French in the classroom and a bunch of exercises in my textbook for homework. After graduation, I still wasn’t fluent in French. I went to Togo in W. Africa with the U. S. Peace Corps. That is where, frustratingly, my French education began. Then I lived in France for 3 years.

Your courses are so superior to my college education. The only correct French I heard was from my professors. Only one out of three were native speakers.

So I compliment you and your staff for my wonderful Spanish training. I go to Costa Rica often for dental and medical care, and as an ecotourist. I am always complimented on my pronunciation of the Spanish language, and recently, the usage.

I am writing to you to thank you for the absolute best Spanish course around.

I recently returned from a two week “intensive Spanish” course in Costa Rica and I’ve learned more in five hours of your course than I learned in ten four-hour days of their course.

The course is fabulous and worth many times more than you charge.
