Yesterday, I gave you an easy Spanish pattern to talk about what you just did.

If you missed my article it’s on this blog post

http://www.synergyspanishsystems.com/blog/conversational-spanish-patterns-part-1/

Here’s another Spanish pattern to talk about what you are just about to do. All you do is say, “estoy a punto de” plus a verb. For example:

Estoy a punto de comer.
I am about to eat.

Estoy a punto de hablar español con mi amigos.
I am about to speak with Spanish my friends.

Estoy a punto de visitar Madrid.
I am about to visit Madrid.

Once you’ve picked up this pattern, you can use it with any verb you know. See if you can work these out.

1) Estoy a punto de visitar España.

2) Estoy a punto de hablar más español.

3) Estoy a punto de celebrar el día de la independencia con mis amigos en México.

By the way, Shortcut to Spanish gets you 31 step-by-step lessons that get you speaking with powerful patterns like the one above in authentic Spanish sentences immediately.
