I’ve just returned from my time in Guatemala. Everyone there was really impressed with how well I can speak and I surprised myself by being able to speak a lot without having to stop and think about it. Practicing with your audio has helped make much of my speech almost automatic.

I have been through just about everything you have published. I first got hooked on your Shortcuts to Spanish, then moved to your Synergy Spanish, Bola de Nieve, and now Bola de Nieve — Advanced. In three year time I went from no Spanish to being able to speak confidently with my Spanish speaking students. (I am an ESL teacher for Latinos).

I teach a computer class in both languages! I get many compliments on my Spanish, thanks to Elena’s excellent examples. Although an Estadounidense (USAmerican) , I am very comfortable in our growing comunidad latina in North Carolina.

Dear Marcus – I am writing you from Costa Rica where I am vacationing.

My purpose for writing is to send profound thanks to you, Jose Luis, Elena, and your brilliance in the design of your courses which I have been studying over the past almost 3 years.

This morning I was speaking Spanish to one of the Costa Rican citizens and he asked me if I was born here or in Mexico. I asked him why? His reply, “Because your Spanish is so very good.” KUDOS, KUDOS, KUDOS to you and the staff at Synergy Spanish.

There are times when I’m not sure how to say something and I think, “How would Jose Luis say this.”

I have had no problems anywhere with my Spanish. I am complemented frequently regarding its quality and particularly my pronunciation. I am a classical pianist so my ears have been trained over the years to not only hear the nuances of music but also that of the human voice.

Prior to your program I had had 3 college semesters of Spanish and had no facility in the language. I have been using your program almost every day for 1 1/2 to 2 hours for almost 3 years and above is my testimony.

I am currently doing the Bola de Nieve course, which I must say is an absolutely superb course. I have been living in Colombia for 5 months now and the course has helped me immensely.

I live in Costa Rica for four months of the year, in a remote area–your lessons have made it possible to survive!!

In a few weeks I shall be 80, but I intend to continue studying Spanish and taking trips to Spain where I enjoy using the Spanish you have taught me.

I gotta say again people are always blown away at the level of Spanish. It’s ingenious I swear to God.

I really cant believe how much this course has helped. I couldn’t imagine dealing with Spanish friends and businesses by telephone 6 months ago! and my neighbours are complimentary, I now berate the men just like their wives! Apparently they feel quite at home…. apart from Carlitos my Spanish son… he was brain damaged in a motorbike accident, his mum says he’s ‘muy triste’ cuando estoy en Inglaterra so I phone him and can feel his smile 3000 miles away!

It is absolutely incredible what you have done. I was in Tegucigalpa last month, I spent a glorious week just rambling away in Spanish.

Your method of teaching is simply great and absolutely works. let me explain why I am so thrilled.

I decided to enroll in a local immersion spanish class (no English) to help perfect my accent and become more fluent. in order for the lead teacher to determine which group (beginner, intermediate or advanced) I should study with she let me sit in a session with the intermediate group.

After one hour in the class there was a small break. The lead instructor approached me and asked how I liked the session. I responded that it was great. She asked me if I thought the class was challenging enough. I said I believed so but the session instructor would be better able to tell you since this is the first formal classroom Spanish class i have ever been in.

You see, I have never had to speak Spanish publicly especially in front of strangers. I only practiced by myself diligently with your lessons. I also listened to Spanish news and telenovelas every week day. The session instructor said I was doing great and perhaps I would benefit more from being in the advanced group.

Now the amazing thing is the advanced group is only for graduate and masters candidate level students.

A life time dream comes true following your method!

I recently went to Mexico with some friends. We took the Copper Canyon Train Tour from Chihuahua to El Fuerte and back.

The country side was beautiful, the canyon breathtaking, the food excellent, and the people simply wonderful all along the way.

Up until this recent trip I had not spoken Spanish with anyone at all, just repeating the lessons as laid out.

Once in Mexico I found myself speaking the language. I was so excited I was almost beside myself, and to top it all off on more than one occasion Spanish speakers remarked on my excellent pronunciation as well as my spoken spanish in general. Never once did anybody hesitate before answering me.

Kudos to you and your “Spanish Language Courses” Marcus. I am forever grateful.

My ability to speak Spanish has dramatically improved after completing Bola de Nieve, and it just keeps getting better & better now that I’m into Advanced Concepts Intensive.

For me, your method has been far more effective than anything else that I’ve tried for developing the ability to have spontaneous conversations in Spanish.

I have been studying Spanish for 3 years. I purchased many of the popular products you see advertised on radio and tv as well as many of the free and pay resources on the internet. After 2 years I realised I was not any closer to reaching my goal of becoming conversational. That’s when I found your product. My Spanish has improved exponentially and I now have a foundation I can continue to build on. Its like Christmas every time I find a new lesson in my inbox. Thanks!

I have just completed the Advanced Concepts Intensive course and cannot believe the improvement in my Spanish. Until I joined Synergy Spanish my Spanish learning had hit a brick wall. The course has been both rewarding and so enjoyable, your teaching method is amazing. I will miss receiving the new instalment each month.

Nunca puedo entender porqué muchos de los gringos de EU y Canadá, que viven en México por muchos meses cada año, no quieren hablar español. La vida es más rica con más conexiones a otras personas.

I can never understand why many of the gringos in the US and Canada, who live in Mexico for many months each year, don’t want to speak Spanish. Life is richer with more connections to other people.

They are great courses that you do – I would never have got started if it wasn’t for your courses.

This is just to tell you that I have been ‘following you’ for some time now and am so delighted with the format of your classes: just love the way you teach!

Although I still struggle with the Andaluz dialect I confidently teach/train golfers in Spanish and they understand me perfectly. I ask them, sometimes, to correct me if I say things incorrectly but they never do – not that I speak perfectly but they completely understand me. So a big ‘thank you’ for this.
