Last year, I fulfilled a 20-year promise to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge around my 50th birthday.

I made two Spanish lessons about turning 50 and throwing a birthday party.

This year for my 51st birthday I’ve arranged to sleep in the Sydney zoo with my kids.

No, we are not an exhibit; we won’t be in a cage.

We’re glamping (glamorous camping). It’s part of Taronga Zoo’s Roar and Snore program.

Estoy emocionado. (I’m excited!)

Except for the giraffes I’ll have the best view of Sydney Harbour. In the morning we’ll get up to feed the animals with the zookeepers.

Post 50, I’m celebrating life and living it to the full.

Of course, 51 makes me a spring chicken.

I just saw that an 80 year old recently climbed Mount Everest.

La vida es bella. (Life is beautiful)

Here are the Spanish videos again. I created them when I was a sprightly 49 year-old.

Below is the follow up lesson to the one above. Just click on the video to start the lesson.

By the way: The Conversation Connections mentioned in the video above are on the link below now part of the Synergy Spanish Conversation Accelerator course.
