Why eaten bread?

“Pan comido” (eaten bread) is a handy Spanish expression.

I’ll tell you about the expression shortly. It relates to the comments about my latest free confidence-creating Spanish videos.

Here are some comments about those videos.

I like your way of putting so much learning in such a short amount of time. By being interactive I find my confidence is higher and I use it more. Thanks so much.
— Mary Ann

Love the videos. Real everyday Spanish.

Great video, Marcus. I purchased your Synergy Spanish course a month or so ago and am up to Lesson 903. It’s a great course; I have done two beginner Spanish courses now (one at Sydney Uni and one at a local community college). Both are OK, but neither got the class speaking mucho español! Your free audio and newsletters are so generous, but doing Synergy Spanish gives me the speaking building blocks, embedding grammar in a very organic way. What a great teacher you are . Thanks!

This is a great lesson. You make learning another language fun.

Thank you so much, Marcus, and congratulations on your great climb!
Voy a cumplir setenta anos pronto y quiero hablar mucho más español con mi nieta colombiana.
— Pam

If you complete the videos, writing, speaking and understanding the Spanish in Pam’s comment will be pan comido for you.

Pan comido literally means “eaten bread,” but it’s like saying “a piece of cake.”
