Why eaten bread?
“Pan comido” (eaten bread) is a handy Spanish expression.
I’ll tell you about the expression shortly. It relates to the comments about my latest free confidence-creating Spanish videos.
If you missed them, you‘ll find them here:
Video Uno – Keeping Promises in Spanish
Video Dos – Instant Spanish Sentence Starter
Here are some comments about those videos.
I like your way of putting so much learning in such a short amount of time. By being interactive I find my confidence is higher and I use it more. Thanks so much.

Love the videos. Real everyday Spanish.

Great video, Marcus. I purchased your Synergy Spanish course a month or so ago and am up to Lesson 903. It’s a great course; I have done two beginner Spanish courses now (one at Sydney Uni and one at a local community college). Both are OK, but neither got the class speaking mucho español! Your free audio and newsletters are so generous, but doing Synergy Spanish gives me the speaking building blocks, embedding grammar in a very organic way. What a great teacher you are . Thanks!
— Jeni
This is a great lesson. You make learning another language fun.
— Gloria
Thank you so much, Marcus, and congratulations on your great climb!
Voy a cumplir setenta anos pronto y quiero hablar mucho más español con mi nieta colombiana.
— Pam
If you complete the videos, writing, speaking and understanding the Spanish in Pam’s comment will be pan comido for you.
Pan comido literally means “eaten bread,” but it’s like saying “a piece of cake.”
Make speaking Spanish pan comido with the videos here:
Marcus thank you for all that I have learned from you I hope to get back again soon.
Thank You Mary Anne
How can I get my free videos?
Thank you Mary anne

Hola Marcus Me Gusta sus lecciones mucho mas.
I noticed when I was umming and aahing about purchasing synergy spanish, that there is no way to see which methods of payment there are unless actually clicking to go and buy it.
If the payment options were on the pages giving information about the courses and not just on the ‘pay now’ page, I would have bought it months ago!
You make it seem easy
I have, at last, made a start on my Synergy Spanish course. Life kind of got in the way but I’m there now.
Thanks for the latest videos regarding ‘Voy a’ and ‘Estoy a punto de’ but I am a little confused as when to use which.
I don’t know if this is the right place to post this but hope you can help – or direct me as to where I should post. Thanks

Enjoying your course and the books and these video lessons, but have a very hard time with the pure audio for Synergy Sapiens when yo introduce new words that I cannot visualize and most often cannot even guess what they are. I then have to write them down and look them up later because I do not want to guess and learn a
“wrong” word.
I have clicked on download but it’s not downloading. I want to be able to put these lessons on CD’S so I can listen to them whenever I’m in my car or at home.
Your help with this matter is so greatly appreciated.

¡Qué maravilloso! ¡Muy Bien, Marcus! ¡Muchas gracias! You are the best! Keep the amazing lessons coming. Brilliant job!
Thanks again Marcus. Enjoyed these lessons. I live in Spain and as soon as I have mastered the contents I USE THEM. My spanish friends and people in shops do notice and are impressed. Keep em coming.

Thanks , Marcus you do make it easier.
Really great, I always enjoy your videos, but, what does Pan comido mean??? Thank you for all your hard work.
Pan comido = bread eaten (This is used to say something is easy, like saying “it’s a piece of cake”.)
Marcus you rock!!! really mean it!
I have been trying to learn Spanish from High School and have gotten nowhere. At last i think I am going to learn that elusive language. You make it easy! Thank you!
Hi Marcus, All your video.s are amazing. I am enjoying every part of it. It is very stimulating and motivating. I finished synergy one and started Bola de Nueve, as you mentioned already there is lots of material to study. Thanks a lot. Saludos Marit
Wish I had your material 6 years ago when I started learning Spanish. Meanwhile these learning modules are a good reminder.
Thanks
Jaime
Decided to go back to review all my notes BEFORE being introduced to Sideways Spanish and there is no comparison what so ever and that is why it is all coming together for me now.
